In spite of the renovations the garden setting and meal was just wonderful. After working for two weeks in the Pilbara heat it was like a little oasis.

Good food, good beer and excellent unintrusive service. I would gladly recommend anyone visiting Perth to give this hotel a try. I hope to return very soon   (maldow - See my reviews (3) - November, 2009)

Beautiful setting in the garden (or indoors for that matter). Great food & friendly staff. Been a few times now and never had a bad experience.

It's such a beautiful building - even if you are not eating it's worth going there for a drink : check out the cellar bar etc. Only one small gripe - when eating in the garden you have to queue at the small restaurant bar, sometimes for ages, to get drinks. Surely some table service for drinks wouldn't be out of the question? Awesome place!   (ChowDown - See my reviews (12) - July, 2009)

Everything was ready and waiting for us. The staff were friendly and hlepful and returned both our drink and food orders correctly and promptly. I have no hesitation in recommending The Rose & Crown and will certainly be returning to this venue for a meal again. For those ordering the salmon (or trout) dish, these serves could have been a little bigger. Those of us ordering meat and pasta dishes were more than satisfied (in fact we were able to assist the fish eaters with a little extra), but all in all a lovely dinner.   (May, 2008)
