25th Floor Restaurant

  Arrived at the restaurant to find that they had no record of my booking, told it was ok and was seated quickly.

  Menus were given minus the drinks menu and had to request for this to be given.

  Ordered a steak but told 5mins later they did not have and i needed to get the more expensive cut. Ordered steak to be served rare but it came served as medium.

  Overall not happy with food, service or value for money. Will not dine again.   (See my reviews (2) - August, 2010)

  We had the 2 course earlybird menu, $28 the calamari was good but would have preferred a chilli sauce. My partner had the oysters which were also good. We both had steaks, tasty and cooked to perfection.   (See my reviews (2) - November, 2009)

  We booked a table at the 25th Floor for a special family meal and were very much looking forward to it. However, whilst the food was reasonable, and the view good, the ambience was very poor and the service was amateurish.

  We arrived 30 minutes ahead of our booking to take time for a cocktail in the cocktail bar, but from the moment we arrived we were rushed. The cocktail bar was very poorly stocked (they couldn't do us a Bloody Mark nor a Whiskey Sour) and the drinks that were available were quite poor.

  We were rushed to our table where we were attended by a team of eager but poorly trained staff, who blundered through the order. They didn't know what the soup nor fish of the day were.

  The meal itself was quite good, but this was ruined by being rushed to leave.   (Geefer - See my reviews (2) - November, 2009)

  The food was well presented. The service was prompt and very friendly, although the staff couldn't really understand me on a few occasions. The view was fantastic and enhanced the experience greatly. However, flavour was slightly lacking in a few dishes.   My friend and me had a great experience here in a lovely Tue night.

  Romantic atmosphere with the light music and quiet customers. Quite good harbour view from facing to a large window on 25th floor although it's a bit dirty but it doesn't matter when darkness comes.

  And Valuable special pack, for an entree+main = $25 ppl!!! can't belive it!!!

  Strongly reckon for those want a nice dinner in weekday to share with partner or quite friends.   (Claire.H - See my reviews (14) - March, 2009)

  Fast service,great food. Only problem was that it was very quiet, and you felt you had to keep your voices down low, as sound travelled easily. Perhaps the music could be turned up a notch or two. Overall a great experience.   (liza - See my reviews (2) - January, 2009)

  Quiet atmosphere at a table affording an excellent view across the domain towards the Opera House and the harbour.

  Attentive service and an enjoyable meal for all three.

  Good wine and sumptuous desserts.

  The furniture is a bit old...the table was making squeaking sounds.. might need some renovations too. Howerver, the food was nice, the view was good and the blonde hair waitress was very friendly and helpful !   (Totoro - See my reviews (29) - April, 2008)

  Food is excellent and prices are just too reasonable. Service needs to be picked up a notch. Some of the accompaniments mentioned on the menu were not served to us until we asked for them.   View and food was great. Service was unremarkable. Piano player, decor felt 20 years behind the time- very tired. Lighting while I appreciate is low so you can enjoy the view was very poor.   (February, 2008)
