Think delicious aromas, sensational spices and stylish surrounding and you will dream up Taste of India in Double Bay. Established in 1986, Taste of India has continued to provide Double Bay with a tantalizing menu, full of the delights found in traditional Indian cuisine.

The original inspiration for the restaurant came from our very own Sydney foreshore, incorporating the famous harbour and the Opera House in to the design. Utilising the Opera House shapes in their napkin creations and the sails from the Harbour seen on the walls of the restaurant, the feeling you get is immediately one of style. India Down Under!

The most appalling rudeness of the manager when the wrong dish was sent to our table is unequaled in all my experience dining in Australia, in India and internationally. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. I have never had such a nasty restaurant experience.   (John S - December, 2008)
