    Very good food, ribs were huge!!! and delicious

    It's a beautiful restaurant with good food and good service. My only complaint is the lack of ambience - the place is like a ghost town. 8pm on a Friday night and the place was all but empty.

      I eat out often (2-3 nights a week) and have never felt the urge to track down a review site to post a review before but cannot keep quiet over this place – WORST meal I’ve ever had! Plane food has been better!

      I got the barramundi with cous cous and the fish was inedible – one bite was and I couldn’t touch it, the fish was obviously defrosted in a microwave and was so dry – completely tasteless, the cous cous wasn’t flavoured/ scented with anything and that was all that was on the plate, no vegetables/ sauces/ flavours, nothing - $28.

      We also got a bowl of mixed olives to start – they weren’t good quality, I’m guessing out of a jar - $9.95 for 8 olives…

      Prices don’t phase me at all when it comes to good food – eating out is part of my social life and I love it - this place made me furious – the food was absolutely disgraceful.

      Don’t waste your time and money – my mind is boggling that people on this site have managed to say anything positive at all about Ablaze – amazing??   (don't eat here - July, 2010)

      The Tapas menu was limited but the food was tasty. We found the tables to be too small - made it very uncomfortable for eating. We had to ask for serving spoons for the Tapas dishes. The wine was poured for each person from the same spot which meant the waitress was reaching across in front of people - not good. However, I would go back again perhaps later in the night would be better ambience & waiting staff more experienced.   (Chezmo - November, 2009)
