All’ Antica restaurant is currently in its 18th year, starting in 1990. The restaurant has a rich history and heritage, serving traditional Italian cuisine since its opening.

The current menu is a blend of regional dishes from all over Italy, with the chef’s cooking influences being from the northern alpine regions of Trentino Alto Adige. The menu focuses on freshness and simplicity, home-style cuisine that lacks the pretention and confusion of some modern dishes. Look forward to greeting you soon!

Chef

Shane McNally - Owner and executive chef Shane McNally has over 18 years cooking experience. After completing his apprenticeship he worked at Mount Buller in Victoria in the Grollo family’s Italian restaurants, here he learnt the Italian cooking style of the alpine regions of Trentino Alto Adige and the northern Italian region of Lombardi.

After working in Australia’s alpine regions, cooking took him overseas to Canada where he worked at Banff’s acclaimed International Hotel as Executive Sous Chef. Here he was tutored and influenced by the cooking of award winning French and German chefs. This traditionalist European style is incorporated in his passion for home-style northern Italian and alpine Tirolean cuisine.

More recently he worked for the Titan’s NRL at the modern Australian themed Titanium Bar. He was also Executive Chef at the Crowne Towers resort in Surfers Paradise.
