"Fabulous! Friendly attentive& Professional service! Beautiful main course! Such " Grown up food." The seating is terrific it is open but private. Unless the next table is shouting, their conversation is not heard. Only slight down side for me - slightly over cooked Chocolate souffle -- like a grainy chocolate cake in a cup. Big Pity. But oh the Pear & Shiraz cocktail was just special. Whole.."

our 35th wedding anniversary.had dined here 35 years ago on our honeymoon.excellent food and service however paying extra for carrots and beans seems a little gauche.beautiful view.showed original menu of 35 years ago to staff;they weren't interested.a lovely night spoilt by lack of consideration.you also don't cut beef in half to serve it as medium to well done. We had an excellent dinner though we thought the service was a little lacking. For example, one person in our group had a severe nut allergy which we stated in our booking and to the waiting staff. He was served desert with a nut brittle on top. Overall 8.8 - Food 9, Ambience 9, Value 7, Service 10

The staff was very friendly and helpful. With a setting like that you would feel cheated if your food are served within minutes. We had ample time to enjoy the 360degree views and sunset. Only one thing that was out of place was the wine glasses that had cloth fibres on them. After asking for a replacement only one glass was changed and refilled. The other glass was left and we did not want to go through the whole excercise, spoiling the moment. Overall 3.8 - Food 7, Ambience 5, Value 2, Service 1
A gruop of 8 went to this restaurant on a Tuesday night to celibrate a 70th birthday. The food was good, and views great, but that is where the goodness stops. |
