"WORST FOOD ever! I had such high expectations but just gutted by the horrible cold OILY dishes. because it was cold you can actually see the sticky oil pools on the food. just yuck.. Service is slow and shocking, had to get highchair from the store room and wipe it clean myself. Only go if you want to see the decor, it is very nice."
"Consider the tag 'fine dining' a gross exaggeration. Seating was cramped, all patrons were seated within close proximity of one another, ostensibly to ease the burden of Sunday evening diners on the waitstaff - to the detriment of atmosphere and comfort. One unfortunate couple were seated at the entrance to the kitchen (neither romantic nor private) despite half the restaurant 'set' but empty..." more reviews

WORST FOOD ever! Overall 2.5 - Food 4, Ambience 3, Value 2, Service 1
Consider the tag 'fine dining' a gross exaggeration. Seating was cramped, all patrons were seated within close proximity of one another, ostensibly to ease the burden of Sunday evening diners on the waitstaff - to the detriment of atmosphere and comfort. One unfortunate couple were seated at the entrance to the kitchen (neither romantic nor private) despite half the restaurant 'set' but empty. Service was slow (five minutes to an offer of water and then another five to an abrupt beverage order/food "you want drinks now? food?") and not up to the calibre one would expect of a restaurant awarded the Prix d'Honneur 2009 and a consistent nominee for other hospitality awards. The food was pedestrian in presentation and flavour; disappointing considering the price point for a main dish is $30 (more if you select one of their premium steaks). Overall, disappointing and overpriced. (Heather - See my reviews (8) - June, 2010) Overall 7.5 - Food 9, Ambience 6, Value 9, Service 6
We found the food at this restaurant first class. Overall 8 - Food 9, Ambience 7, Value 7, Service 9
A Most enjoyable evening. Most of us at our table would have included a side dish of vegetables if offered. We assumed it would be included with our main meal. When you are out enjoying yourselves you do not pay attention to details therefore if it was brought to our attention by the waitperson we would have ordered them. Will know for next time & we will attend again. Thank you. (Ingrid Brown - See my reviews (8) - November, 2009) Overall 6 - Food 4, Ambience 8, Value 4, Service 8
I took my husband out to lunch for his 40th birthday to a special place as this is where we spent our wedding 19 years ago. The service and hospitality shown by the staff was very professional, prompt and convenient. Unfortunately some of the food wasn’t too good. The poached fish with lemon grass was unpalatable; some of the rock melon had a taste of rotten and was soft and the prawns where bland and not fresh at all. My wife and I have been on two previous occasions and have never been disappointed. We have always been disappointed at other restaurants because of value for money, quality of food and most importantly service. The Atrium meets all our needs and we only ever go there now to have lunch. (Ross Hutton - See my reviews (8) - September, 2009) Overall 8 - Food 8, Ambience 7, Value 8, Service 9
I had my 21st birthday there, and the experience was wonderful. My requests were answered as we asked, with two tall tables next to one another. The staff were very attentive and came through with the complimentary cake (a Burswood initiative) with the added touch of my name on it, as well as a free glass of champagne for all my guests (15 ppl). The food was lovely.. my uncle keeps raving about the Pizza. Thank you Sirocco for a wonderful evening. (Kylie - See my reviews (11) - August, 2009) Overall 3 - Food 2, Ambience 7, Value 2, Service 1
Very disappointed with the lack of variety in the food on offer - cheese was just huge chunks of mouldy blue cheese, the prawns were tasteless and the empty dishes were not refilled. The service of the drinks waiters was really lacking and they certainly did themselves out of more drinks orders because they did not ask! For the price not worth it and wont be returning. The Red Emperor, Macadamia Nut Crust, Orange Fennel Salad, Thyme Beurre Blanc is the most amazing dish! (CE - See my reviews (8) - July, 2009) Overall 6.8 - Food 7, Ambience 8, Value 7, Service 5
We went on a busy weekend night. There were 4 of us, but we were placed at the smallest table, it really would have been better suited to 2. As a result, we felt crowded and uncomfortable, and it didn't help that the waitstaff expected us, not them, to make space for arriving food and wine. Food was ok, had a pretty average steak. For a night out with friends when you can live with the squishy tables it's fine, if slightly overpriced. (Sarah - See my reviews (18) - June, 2009) |
