well was not very satisfied with the tortellini it was gluggy and tasteless the service was inadequate due to the glasses being dirty with beef stains and lipstick on glasses and the waitress said can she pour the drink into another glass and was unsure how to handle the situation that arose. wouldn.t reccommend this cafe   (dissatisfied patron - August, 2011)

the best restaurant ever. the service and owners are delightful. The food was amazing and the staff were wonderful. we have been there thousand of times over the past 15 years and will continue going there. we go 3 times a week, and it is priced well. i recommend this restaurant to everyone its for all ages with kids meals and fully licensed for the adults. :) May 2009   (wonderful - May, 2009)

I found my experience at Amaretto cafe to be quite disapointing. The service was quite invasive and the food was very basic. I was shocked when i visited the toilets. I felt as though I was walking through a train station. For a restaurant standard this was very disapointing.   (Disappointed customer - February, 2009)

My family and I went to Caffe Amaretto recently. We moved outside because it was unbearably loud inside to the point that we couldn't hear eachother. For starters, the wedges were okay, but you really can't go wrong with frozen wedges from the supermarket.

We sat with dirty dishes in front of us for over 40 minutes and had to call over the waitress to have the table cleared.

Our mains took another 45 minutes to come and weren't offered more drinks while we waited (we had to walk inside and order more at the till)

The steak was satisfactory, the fish was burnt with two leaves for the salad, our pasta was terribly dry and the garlic prawns were burnt, yet cold. We did complain but all the watress said was "ok, sure, sorry". We paid the full amount and left, finishing off the evening at another restaurant.   (Jack - February, 2009)

The food was excellent , but spoiled by the fact that some members of the party ordered entrees, which were forgotten about untill the main course arrived and then when the staff were informed of this some of the party had entree and main course at the same time.   (December, 2008)

Whilst the food itself was quite good, the sevice by wait staff leaning across one person to deliver drinks to another, not bothering to come back to see if further drinks, sweets or anything else was required and delivering meals to a table of six at different times even before the entree was finished left a lot to be desired. We did have to ask to order as no one had come yet to ask if we were ready but I saw that as our fault too. We should have said we had taken a break from a business meeting and needed to get back. The waitress for our drink orders was great as once she put down lemon lime & bitters, others were thinking they looked nice and ordered too. I think she went back a few times!
