Thanks to all at Amigos for a great night. The new menu looked good and the Chicken Mole was sensational, also the fireballs proved entertaining. Love the beer list but can't go past the Bohemia, margaritas are excellent too. Don't know about the rude man in charge but on this night he was nothing but helpful, friendly, provided suggestions, and his service was great throughout. I'm pleased to say we had a much better experience than last time. Service has improved immensely and we had a great night - fantastic food, generous servings, friendly staff and overall very enjoyable. The big man in charge was very rude and inflexible when we wanted a slight variation in our meals as my friend is a bit of a fussy eater. Meals were not very edible!   (April, 2008)

Well I would go there for a special occasion. I recently had my 40th birthday party there. A booking for 65 on a Saturday night, no trouble at all. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Amigo's is good for Mexican which you can just as easily make at home (but can't be bothered). Wouldn't go there for a special occasion. Staff can be a bit off-hand (possibly inexperienced?).   (CJ - See my reviews (51) - February, 2007)
