One of the best gluten free options in the area. Choices include bruschettas and pastas, not just another chicken salad. Good coffee and cake as well. The service is friendly and accommodating.

I have been a regular at Cafe Amorino for about 3 years now. I attend with a friend often and also with my wife who loves the risotto. I have had consistently good friendly service, the meals come quickly and always (except for 1 occasion) taste superb. They also recognise the entertainment card and Ambassador card which makes for a very reasonably priced meal for two. The staff are happy for us to stay chatting for extended periods over which time I find the coffee and sweets enjoyable and with plenty of choice. I will continue to return regularly. Thank you Amorino.

My experience at Amorino was ok. After waiting about 15 minutes to be acknowledged by the staff, our drinks took about another 15 minutes and were wrong. There were screaming kids and the atmosphere just wasn't right. We ended up going to Mondo across the road for dessert & coffee's because we just wanted to get out.

Yummy Italian food. Very homely atmosphere. Well proportion meal sizes. Meals took less than 20 minutes to come out. Highly recommend for people who want to try it out (except for the "reviewer of September 2008"). Dined there a few times but have never been disapponted. Try it for yourself

My experience at Amorino's was exteremely unsatisfactory. I dined with my mother and my fiance' on a Tuesday night. We were greeted in a friendly manner and show to our tables, and our waiter who I believe was the manager took our orders. We ordered Penne with Rose' sauce, Vegetarian Risotto and I ordered a Caesar salad, with a request for chicken to be added. Our meal took at least 40 minutes to arrive and it wasn't even a particularly busy night either. My salad was- to put it bluntly, disgusting. All of the food was heaped into clumps around the bowl. The chicken that I had ordered was gristly, brown and stringy, and there was barely any of it. The 'croutons' were in fact two pieces of regular bread toasted, still in whole pieces and tossed onto the side. The bacon wasn't chopped, it was two rashers dumped on top of the lettuce. The lettuce was however quite tasty and crisp. Even though the menu specified it came with anchovies, there were none, and the 'caesar dressing' salad was just mayonaise. The menu also specified 'shaved parmesan' but there wasn't any, instead I used the parmesan shaker intended for the pasta dishes. My fiance' and boyfriends meals were commented upon as 'yuck' 'cold' 'not very tasty'. The meals were also expensive, considering how much of a serve we got -which wasn't very generous at all. When we went to pay for our order the waitress began hysterically weeping to us complaining that; 'she had slipped over in the kitchen and the boss wouldn't let her go home, and didn't we think she should be able to go home?!' I felt empathy for her but at the same time it was really unprofessional. I personally will never be going back to Amorino's and I would never recommend it to anyone.

There was four of us dining and everyone of us enjoyed our meal and our overall experience at Amorino Cafe. My friend who had the steak, commented on the fact that it was the best steak she had had in a long time. The service was also fantastic. We will definitely be going there again.

We keep going back to Amorino because we are always made to fell welcome and the quality of the food has always been consitantliy delicious. We have never felt the staff there to be pushy nor uncaring.......they are there when required otherwise you are left to enjoy your meal and conversation without being constantly interupted.

The food was FABULOUS!!!! I had a scrumptious crab linguine and had to stop myself licking the plate it was that good. The service is a little on the slow side but as the food was well worth waiting for, it didn't matter. :0)
