    This is good pub food with an emphasis on Seafood. Good value, noisy but you expect that at lunch on a Sunday. I'm a repeat visitor so must be alright.

      This is good pub food with an emphasis on Seafood. Good value, noisy but you expect that at lunch on a Sunday. I'm a repeat visitor so must be alright.   (GMS210 - See my reviews (15) - January, 2008)

      Good food. Reasonable portions. Acceptable value. Pleasant enough staff. Delightful meal and time out with younger friends. "Good tucker!" The hotel was not responsible for the yobbo patrons who extended their rudeness from the hotel to the restaurant. Bravo to the two staff who gave extra drinks to the restaurant patrons as a thank you for having to tolerate a rude interlude to the meal.

      We'll go back and hope the place is able to do even better next time. BTW, this restaurant is NOT in Newcastle. It's in Frederick Street at Merewether, a decent step outside the city!!!   (Keith Nicholls - See my reviews (74) - December, 2007)
