    The food was absolutely delicious and arrived before the ETA. But it is insanely expensive. We paid $21 for four pieces of halloumi that had a few olives and some sliced up tomato scattered around it. However we didn't get that horrible feeling in our stomaches that so often comes with ordering take away and it was really nice food.     2.5 hours after ordering, still no food. Delivery time in the SMS was 30 mins after ordering.

    Called the restaurant and was told it was on its way an over hour ago and the restaurant is less than 2kms away. Called again and can't get an answer on what happened to my order.

    Won't ever order from here again, no food, but a charged credit card.

    Easily the worst menulog experience I have had to date.

    HIGHLY RECOMMEND the following: Coriander Potatoes, Mixed Pastries, and Hoummous topped with meat - the best and freshest tasting Lebanese I have had in a long time and v fast delivery as well. A little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for!   (Sierra - See my reviews (2) - May, 2012)

      I dined here on a Saturday night & enjoyed my time here immensely, and would definitely recommend it to others seeking yummy authentic Lebanese food & a fun lively atmosphere.

      Our waitress was very welcoming & showed us to a large table near the front window, and was able to answer any questions we had, we enjoyed attentive but not over the top service which was nice for a change.

      The food was the star attraction of course with the lamb shawarma having a fuller flavor than many I have had before; the mansaf dejaj had a very nice tenderized pulled chicken topping which I really enjoyed having never had the dish before.

      And we enjoyed the belly dancing show (if you’re up for some fun: joining in is encouraged!)

      All in all a great night out for my anniversary, with a more unusual treat at the end of champagne & shisha out the front under their cozy heaters.

      I’m really glad I tried it despite mixed reviews online & thought I’d share my experience of a little of Lebanon in Newtown that I really enjoyed.   (May, 2012)

      The food was great and the service was very good with one slight niggle. We were told it was a set menu. I dont like set menus, preferring to choose items I like or want to experience. I hope the management heeds, this as I notice that there are some other reviews that mention this. In our experience, the waiter was very understanding and brought us a menu immediately. All the wait staff were friendly, amiable and helpful. The food was really good and even my fussy 6 year old tried new things and declared herself a lover of Lebanese food. We will definitely come back again and bring our friends.   (June, 2008)

      Bellydancer was great entertainment. Food was nice, except there was only one vegetarian dish to choose, from the Mains. Even though there were 3 of us dining, the waiter insisted we order the banquet - we preferred to mix our meat and vege dishes. When we went against the waiter's wishes he was not very pleasant. We received the ontray and 10 minutes later the main dishes arrived!! Nice food, good location but the the service needs to improve.   (AV - April, 2008)

      Foods was great, and the belly dancing created a great atmosphere, but unfortunately the whole thing was spoiled by the stressed and rude wait staff who made us feel as though we were a thorn in their side and they had somewhere better to be!
