    We waited 1.5 hours to get meal then it was cold and one dish was missing. Rang them and it took another 1.5 hours for missing fish to arrive. Wouldn't bother again   (Joanne - May, 2013)

    Whole experience was a disaster - ordered the meal at 6:30 for delivery at 8:15 pm due to attending a strata meeting. The meal turned up 15 mins later 6:45 pm - so we had to send it back. Then it didn't turn up at the agreed time of 8:15 pm and following a phone call it finally arrived at 8:45 pm. The delivery person stated that delivery hero had failed to note the requested time on the order - not sure where the blame sits but why bother giving the client an option to order ahead it they can't get the delivery time right........     Food here is great if you order during the week....to be avoided on friday & saturday nights, as we discovered, took way too long and was barely edible with one of our dishes not delivered "because they ran out"   (Raymond - March, 2013)

    Ordered and was told a delivery time. Half an hour after this, the order still did not arrive. Called the restaurant and they said there was going to be an extra hour wait - 2 hours!!!!

    When asked if we would get a discount due to the delay they declined and said they were busy and it is raining...

    So we cancelled the order.

    Dumplings were tough, pork soup tasted like cheap broth. Delivery took way too long and placing the order took about 20mins on the phone to communicate the order to staff. Really poor service.   (Cate - See my reviews (4) - January, 2013)

    I placed my order and received my confirmation at 6.45 saying the expected delivery time was 7.30. When it hadn't turned up by 8pm I called them and was told it was a busy night but the driver had left 10 minutes ago so it should be here shortly. At 8.30 it still hadn't arrived so I called again to be told again how busy they were and that the time sent by menu log didn't mean anything, and the driver was still another 15 minutes away. I requested a refund or something only to be told that wasn't possible but I could have a free dish if I ordered from them again directly (as if!). The food finally turned up just before 9pm. It was cold, some of the items were greasy (pumpkin cakes), others were dried out (duck pancakes & dumplings), the rest was very underwhelming ('sizzling' beef and rice).     These guys seriously need to sought out their delivery issues, took 1 n half hrs when stated 45mins. Called at 1hr 15mins just got answering machine, left message n they didnt return call. Some of the food was good though like the pork buns, shandong chicken, grandmas tofu, three cup chicken. Really liked pumpkin pancakes. As for the rest though... 2 different fried rices were bland n couldnt tell the difference, u might as well just order plain rice. Plus the Chow Kway Teow was terrible. Would only order here in person just to try some of the other entrees bcos of the pumpkin pancakes. Will never order delivery from here again though.     Very happy with Asian King! We rang to confirm our order - they were v. polite and the food arrived within the delivery period designated by Menulog. We ordered 2 laksas and enjoyed both. Only complaint would be that the laksa soup had tipped out into the plastic bag so it was more like soup in a bag rather than a container.     I ordered a dish in advance, only to have it arrive an hour early and before everyone was home. When I rang to complain, there were no managers present and the English speaking skills of the employee were very much lacking, until she answered another phone call whilst speaking to me and her English sounded fine then.

    I understand that English is not the best everywhere but using a lack of understanding to provide poor customer service is not acceptable.

    It was only when I requested that they come back and collect the food and provide me with a full refund that miraculously I was able to be understood.

    The food was collected minutes later with a promise of fresh food delivery at my correct order time.

    This was the 7/8? time we'd ordered on line and had a loyalty meal for part of the bill. Unfortunately one dish was not in the delivery and when I rang suddenly English was very much a second lanuage. It all became too hard. Sorry wont be back.   (Andrew - February, 2012)

    Awful food. The green beans were inedible and the fried rice tasted a day old. I threw them in the bin. The food took an hour when they said it would only be 45 mins, and then when the delivery man came he didn't have any change for a $50 when the meal was $32.50. He left and came back with a $10 note...??!! By that time I had tried the food and realised how awful it was and so there was no way I was going to pay $40 for it - I wouldn't have even tipped that much for great food. He left again and came back FOR the THIRD time with $15. He STILL didn't get it right. By this stage I was very angry...
