The service was absolutely appalling. It arrived almost 3 hours after I ordered it. I called 3 times to see where the order was. The staff were extremely unhelpful and rude, did not apologise once or offer any assistance in finding where our order was.
I have always been pleased with the food quality but unfortunately waiting 3 hours for my meal has completely cancelled this out. Would not recommend if you are hungry and want to go to bed on time. (Cloe - April, 2013)

Tried Atom Thai in Nov 12, food was average but the delivery was the worst. Called twice to see where order was after being told it was on the road. 1hr after expected delivery our food finally arrived. Was disappointed considering they had such great reviews! (Megan - February, 2013)

Red curry had a 5mm layer of oil on top, which had to be drained off. Chicken was pretty dry and tough. Curry puffs were quite nice, though. This was lunchtime delivery on a weekday. It arrived just a few minutes late.
Confused about the glowing reviews this place has been given.. I may try it again, but it's unlikely. (Blake - January, 2013)

I've just moved to Erskineville and Atom Thai is the second Thai restaurant we used - it's the last we'll use, as I see no reason to order anywhere else! I'm a huge Thai fan, and Atom's is some of the best I've ever had. I just hope they don't sell the business to people who don't put so much love into their food - highly recommended for any Thai lovers. I hate to give this restaurant a bad review because I do love it.
I ordered online at 530pm, got confirmation the food would arrive at 615pm. I called at 645pm and was told the food was on the road and on it's way. 715pm it arrived. I was offered a 15% discount on the next order. Not happy. Probably won't order from Atom Thai again, even for the measly discount. (April - See my reviews (23) - September, 2012)

Great food but when I ordered this evening it was 45 mins past the quoted delivery time and still no delivery.... so I decided to cancel.

Food's ok quality but is overpriced. eg Miang Goong size wise was what i thought initially were condiments for another dish. Duck breast w tamarind tasty and good choice, Crying Tiger well Ive had better and a lot cheaper too. Crab Spring Rolls were good choice, Fresh Coconut King Prawn really tasty and nice fresh coconut however could've shaved about $4 off the price again. Tom Yum Fried Rice tasty but again well overpriced. So overall good quality and some nice choices but value for money stinks so am reluctant to order here again, however it seems to be a fave for lots of other people. Went here off the strength of the reviews. Got a reasonable enough beef flat noodle, tasted fine but worth $10, not $15. Got two entrees as well that were horrible value; $13 squid, which was basically batter, and $9 chicken wings (only 4 and were tiny). Would not recommend, terrible value. Being a long term (10 Years) Newtown/Alexandria/Enmore resident i have eaten in many of the local Thai places...and had my opinions on the best...untill i had Atom...while i havce never eaten in...only delivery.. i ordered this thai 9 times since Feb...and never been disappointed...i think they have the best money bags i have ever had...there currys are spot on...the soft shell crab i would fight to the death for...allways hot and very consistent...
