Horribly under impressed. The service couldn’t have been much worse; we actually considered leaving and later wished we had. The food was very ordinary and certainly not a value for the price. The acoustics in place are bad. The screaming children on the other side of the restaurant made conversation at our table impossible. I won't be back - ever.

Consistently good quality food and service. Been to many restaurants and waited far longer than I have here, don't think thirty minutes wait on some dishes is too much to ask. If you want un-imaginative low quality food in a hurry then go elsewhere. This is AAA+++ all the way. Well done Awganix!

Food was disgusting. Lamb shank was a mutton shank boiled in water with veg/ no flavour whatsoever.Lamb burger looked very sad. The seafood in the Crepe was dry and overcooked. Presentation of dishes was poor. Sirloin steak, Pork hock and Sausages equally appalling. One hour wait after ordering. AWFUL!!! FOOD at AWganix. Never again.

overall experience was enjoyable. Liked the chips but didn't like them in gravy-makes them soggy, crisp is better. One of us had cold food, and several thought its arrival was too long. Enjoyed the apple and rhubarb crumble, but the day b4 , in a hotel, had the cream in a small jug-much easier to use than a shallow sprinkling over all of the plate. shared chocolate plate was too rich, beef was excellent, macaroons heavenly. Crepe was too heavy in texture and rather tasteless, abit like blotting paper! despite our critique we intned to be back. Thanks

Beautiful! Excellent service, excellent setting and great food. Little big pricey but you get what you pay for! Will be returning.

We had a really bad experience on mothers day this year. After booking with menulog when we arrived we were told we were booked in at a later time but they would accommodate us outside - they later realised we were booked in twice, at the time requested and the later time. We were forgotten about outside and after our drink order it took roughly 20 mins for our food order to be taken. Our starters arrived quickly however it then took around 20mins for the plates to be cleared and another 20 mins to receive our mains. After we finished our mains it took another 30 mins for the plates to be cleared. We had ordered deserts but we needed to leave. I explained our rush and asked for the deserts be taken off but found we had actuallly been charged an extra meal! They hurried our deserts out as I was trying to pay so I accepted the desert charges. The staff were not apologetic and explained that on busy days like this "it can be a challange". I was made to feel I was being unreasonable. We won't return.

I tend not to agree with the comments about the Kids menu, I didn't see any pizza, commercial tomato sauce or Cottee's topping? I experienced House made Chicken Bites and Ice-Cream Toppings!! Also Organic Tomato sauce which were all of a very high standard. Will definately go back and recommend to friends! Fantastic!!

Although we were thrilled with the menu for grownups, we were really surprised that the offerings for littlies was so unimaginative and "fast food" orientated. We don't eat out often and when we take her, try hard to give our 3 year old as fine dining experiences as we expect for ourselves. Chicken nuggets, ham & pineapple pizza, commercial tomato sauce and Cottee's style caramel topping ??? Our girl took one bite of the soggy pasta and refused any more - but she really loved the dips and delicious bread - and relished her single scoop of coconut ice cream . Next time we'll order her mains from the adult menu !
