We went on a Tuesday night for our anniversary so the restaurant wasnt very crowded which made the dinner more intimate. The service was faultless. The steak was exquisite. Cooked to perfection. It was a little pricey but worth it for the occasion. I'll definitely consider dining there for our next anniversary or other special occasion. The menu said "baby beets with Binorie goats curd, rocket and Packham pears." It sounded delicious. What I got was 2 slices of beetroot out of a tin, 3 slices of what was supposed to be a pear, about a teaspoon of Binorie goats curd and a huge pile of rocket. All this for $18.50! Apparently, they had run out of baby beets and thought tinned beetroot would be OK. I might add that our booking was at 6.30pm, not late.This was just the worst example of a very bad meal. The service was very friendly. The only saving grace for a restaurant that used to be faultless. I would not recommend Babbingtons again.   (Deanne Johnson - July, 2009)

We Dined at Babbingston restuarant with our 2 Children. It was a fantastic experience for the whole family, the food was delicious and they catered wonderfully for our two kids. The staff are very friendly and the menu amazing. Will be heading back very soon.   (merewether - November, 2008)

We dined at Babbingtons resturant on a Friday night, the mains were amazing and and the dessert delicious. The service was excellent and the bartender did a fantastic job of creating our cocktails. We will defiantly be going back when we are in Newcastle again.   (Mel - November, 2008)

Dinner party for birthday, beautiful food and presentaion.

We found that the menu had a fantastic range for all tastes. The Chef was able to please our guest with special dietary requirements, with no problem. (thank you)
