      All i can say is Bacar is a hidden jewel. My partner and stumbled on this hotel after getting lost in olympic park. Very glad we did. The food was amazing, very fine and intricate. The service we recieved from the hostess/ manager with brown hair in a ponytail was outstanding. I could even state up there with my best service experience ever. I have dined in every fine and reputed Sydney eateries but I have never felt so at home and more comfortable with the service, not over the top, just perfect.

      I would recommend Bacar in a heart beat. Everything was fanatstic, I will definetly be back   (shane - February, 2011)

      Had read some other reviews on this place which were mixed but we couldnt fault the place - the food was fresh and tasted great. The waiter was very attentive, sometimes a bit too much but nothing too over the top. He explained each course in great detail and helped with any request we had...

      My partner didnt think too much of the raw wagyu dish, it was seared but only very lightly, the prawns were great and the chocolate dessert was to die for!

      The only thing i could fault was that when i booked i asked for a nice seating for the occasion but we were seated close to the front entrance...

      Other than that, i would recommend this place - not too pricey and the food was definitely well worth the visit...   (enagee - See my reviews (2) - February, 2009)
