The Ball and Chain Grill is open for Lunch from noon, weekdays, and Dinner every night from 5.30pm. Bookings are unnecessary for up to four people and you are assured of a place. Our bar area serves a wide range of pre-dinner drinks and offers an opportunity to peruse our menu and wine list.

Kids menu is also available.

Steaks are consistently good and the turnaround time is surprisingly quick. Steak is very well cooked, exactly to your specification. Good for kids too. (blis777 - See my reviews (11) - October, 2008)

food was great! very tasty steaks! Good salads. They are expensive but you can expect a great steak and good service! We had a good night! The waiter spilt the wine on our table, that was a little amazing!! (Protea - See my reviews (16) - February, 2008)

Amazingly ridiculous service! They refuse to take reservations for groups under 4 people. When I enquired what is the possibility of doing a walk in, they said it's better to make a reservation. Is it only me.. or are we going in circles? So I am taking my dinner for New Years Eve somewhere else. If you can't live to your pledge as per your website: "Bookings are unnecessary for up to four people and you are assured of a place." You should accept reservations for special occasions. It's common sense... which your staff unfortunately lacks. (December, 2007)
