Banana Blossom

I have been to Banana Blossom twice in recent weeks. On both occasions the woman at the counter was incredibly rude - I asked for a receipt the first time & was told I should have asked for it when I ordered - I apologised & was reluctantly but grumpily given one. The 2nd time I asked for the receipt at the time of the order & was rudely told she had been busy - so she grabbed the book , sighed loudly & stuffed the receipt into the bag with the salad. The food is ok but based on this kind of service I simply will not go back - it is not acceptable. This creates a very poor ambience for everyone as it is only a small place & many can hear what is said. When I mentioned this to several people most of them had also been on the receiving end of this bad tempered woman & have also said they will not go there again. Hospitality? I don't think so.

I also see that the restaurant says it takes eftpos & credit cards - it doesn't - cash only.   (Such rude service - spoils the food. - October, 2012)

Fantastic food, everybody I have recommended it to have thanked me, healthy, delicious, great flavour combinations and value for money. Service is good, but when they have a queue 5 people deep, expect they are trying to keep up with orders and won't be sprinkling your path with rose petals. Ben and Nat have created a community of loyal customers who are merely keeping their taste buds happy :-)   (Sp1derman - August, 2011)

Have watched Banana Blossom grow into something sensational! Well done Ben and his lovely wife! The most delicious salads, won ton soup and rice paper rolls ever! As someone once said "it's like having a party in your mouth"!!! TRUE
