      I visited Bannisters restaurant for a family dinner. The food was very small portioned and seriously overworked. Noveau cuisine to the max, the food was tasty though - you couldn't go and just eat a main course because you'd need to stop for a sandwich on the way home. Complementary dirty looks from their gay and lesbian patrons if you dare to bring your children!   (Livetolunch - See my reviews (23) - February, 2009)

      A most enjoyable experience. My family and I Visited the restaurant 12 months ago for a special occasion and was so impressed that we were keen to pay another visit. I was not disappointed. Overall I was impressed by the service, however after being seated and given menus and wine list, it was sometime before we were asked if we wished to order drinks. I think it is nice to ponder over the menu with a nice glass of wine or champagne. By the time we were asked about drinks we had made up our minds as to what we were going to order.     3 course dinner $80pp. Entree, Main, Dessert, Sides, Petit Fours and Tea/ Coffee. A special menu will be designed, with a choice of approx 3 options per course. Generally seating is in the semi-private dining area called the Garden Room with lovely views out to the ocean.
