We had our wedding at the Bartley tavern on the 11th November. The food was fantastic, even catering to the specific need of some our our guests. The organization and the service was excellent. We recently celebrated our mother's birthday at the Bartley. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed good honest food. A member of our group brought along a birthday cake and to the Bartley's credit, staff had no hesitation first storing it in the fridge and then later serving the cake with candles to us at the table. We received cold crumbed prawns filled with something grey and moldy looking due to "a bad batch" and red raw schnitzels because it is apparently "a bit hard to cook a schnitzel all the way through." These were the reasons/responses we got from an extremely rude duty manager who approached our table with, "Who wants me!" I would recommend to stay clear.   (Customer - August, 2010)
