my friend and i loved it ,then i took my parents there and they loved it now I'm taking my work mates there and I'm sure they will like it too   (the bellhouse cafe - November, 2009)

While the venue was in a nice location, the toilets next to the entrance smelt like rotting fish, the service was terrible and the food was the worst seafood I have ever eaten. The waitress (on her first night was terrible) and the rest weren't much better.   (October, 2009)

We live locally and we have found it to be one of the best all round eateries, with the added bonus of a great location, right on the wharf. Allways had great service.   (ross - March, 2009)

Always a very nice place to be with efficient and pleasant staff but the calamari that two people had was very poor and another diner's trio of fish was very uninspiring.   (August, 2008)

i have visited this restaurant several times, and it has always impressed. Service is top class, view is superb, and food is very good (try the rhubarb and raspberry tart!). A definite favourite!   (Helen - February, 2008)

We had a lovely meal at the Bellhouse cafe. I think the title of cafe is a bit deceiving because it was way more upmarket than a cafe.We couldn't fault the service, although it was a quiet evevning. The food was great but we were disappointed with the garden salad which was very average for a restaurant of that capacity. I had the sticky date pudding for dessert and it was to die for. These were definately not CAFE prices BEWARE.   (November, 2007)

Excellent breakfast enjoyed by 4 people, service was good, but spoilt by an unprofesional and untidy waiter, ( very shaky, maybe owing to being hungover, also needed a shave),apart from that couldn't fault and will certainly return.   (October, 2007)
