      It was our 21st wedding anniversary and we LOVED Bergerac. Never been there before, SOO romantic and on the way home we were already discussing how soon we could go there again. Don't go changin' - we will recommend it to EVERYONE

      Food was average - smelled a little fishy, the service was quite good, restaurant atmosphere is quite well set-up with a bit of class, I would recommend it if you are after satisfaction, but not for fulfillment as the serving was quite small.

      Great foods. But we got a dish that was different from what we ordered. Check your bill before you pay. Two items were overcharged. We asked one to rectify, but ignored the other, which was only $1 difference.

      We did not receive ALL of our order, even after I had reminded the waiter. The Caffe Lattes we ordered were horrible to say the least. My impression was that the restaurant was under-staffed on the night. We experienced an abnormally long wait after requesting the bill. There is no excuse to be under-staffed on Valentines night and the Footy being played around the corner. A shame because we had high expectations!

      A small piece of France in Melbourne. All the favour and sophisticated taste one expects of french food in a setting that is unique and slightly rustic. Suitable for both casual and business dining. Likley to be enjoyed by those that apprecate a nuanced experience.

      I have been to the Bergerac twice, the first time was for a romantic anniversary dinner with the wife. The food was prepared to perfection but being a Tuesday night and quiet, I expected the service to be both a little quicker and a little faster. I also slightly objected to being placed near the only other guests of the night - a large table of a dozen people - who it turned out to be the local swingers club ... which sort of ruined the "romantic" feel of the night ...

      Went on a Friday nite and it was pretty quiet so it was good in a way. Serice was ok, had the salmon which melted in your mouth and was fresh. Portions were a little small hence the 8. The restaurant has a real warm feeling to it.

      Food was beautiful and atmosphere perfect for big group booking, however paying for the bill took an hour...and we were charged for 2 extra meals....
