My husband and I were welcomed to the restaurant for Mother's Day dinner and enjoyed every mouthful of the deliciously fresh and tasty food, including lovely desserts. We noticed that the people close by also looked very content and the service was excellent.

My family of eight were there also for Mothers Day this year for the buffet lunch and we had an absolutely wonderful day. Do not agree with the comparisons that some have made to an RSL buffet - we did not see evidence of this. King prawns were not those cheap Asian imports, but Queensland Kings - fresh, sweet and crunchy; the Oysters Kilpatrick were constantly being freshly made, the fish fillets were flathead and very yummy and many new batches were provided. I just do do not understand a review of the same day saying that they went home hungry and the food was terrible. Not true! Staff were so friendly and attentative - we could not fault them. Thank you Waterview Restaurant for such a memorable Mother's Day. First time there and we will be back!   (Carol P - See my reviews (2) - May, 2010)
