    Food is great, very fast delivery.

    They seem to though give different portions in different containers even when paying the full price and not a lunch special as they do in the shop.

    Also asked them previously to add chilli to the meals and they have not and they seem to get annoyed when you put through an order an hr before they are closing. Otherwise overall i love the food so i keep ordering it.   (Sylvia - See my reviews (5) - January, 2013)

    Having lived in Paddington and Bondi where you are spoilt for choice (Eat Thai and Thairiffic being the pick of the bunch) I have pretty high expectations, and as far as the Mascot / Botany area goes Big Boy Thai is so far the best of a very ordinary bunch. The duck curry had a great flavour (if not a little watery), and the fried rice was nice and not at all gluggy. The satay sticks were quite chewy though and the fishcakes I am sure are the same ones you can buy at the local Asian grocer in bags of 20.   (Brett - See my reviews (3) - April, 2012)

    Very disappointed with our meal tonight. Overcooked rice which was gluggy and just a lump, a prawn red curry with about 5 prawns and a massaman curry that was all sinew and fat. Such a shame because i've eaten here many times and been so happy. If only they had checked what they were sending out instead of having the customer at the other end receiving such substandard food.     I think this would probably be the best and most authentic thai i've had in a while. Really nice spices and reasonable prices. Glad that we came here for lunch. We didn't order home delivery so can't really comment on that. We've tried a few places in newtown but i actually like bigboythai better.
