If you want to spend a nice moment with someone special this is definitely a good address to go to. Services was very friendly and efficient. We received many additional information about the food but in particular about the wine. Food was really good maybe a few too many fish dishes in the entry courses, where it would have been nice to have more variety. Main courses offered really something for everyones taste. Quality and combination of dishes were really good. Atmosphere was nice but could be improved. Overall an expensive but pleasant experience out. I recently had by far the best meal I had had in years at Bilson's. The service, the taste and presentation of the food, the ambiance; everything was as close to perfect as is possible in a dining experience. The service was efficient, professional and warm and the food so beautifully presented, it was almost a shame to eat it (except that it tasted even better than it looked). The standard was so high that I realised how underwhelmed I had been with Sydney restaurants until then. Bilson's is in a class of its own. Great food, and all the wines were perfect. Really fabulous seafood course menu, perfect for the season. very nice to see the same staff. the renovation looks fabulous. And Chris is the ultimate Maitre'D. He is a true professional and handsome and warm and apparently single. will be coming back for more! It was awesome.. The service was good.. the meals were well spaced out, and even though the portions were small they filled us up.. My favourite part would be the souffle.. Delicous..and the mash potato foam.. and the pork crackling. Oh, and the bit where we got to meet Manu. That was my boyfriends highlight of the night! My partner and I eat out a lot and this is one restaurant that we always remember. They fit us in last minute, knew their wine and their food and the service was excellent and the venue fancy without being pretentious - definitely a place to go!
