We bought a $93.50 'dinner for two' deal on Spreets for $29 and added additional items (1 x cool drink and 2 x deserts) to the offer. If we paid cash for the lot it would have totalled $110.50

We visited at lunchtime and once inside the atmosphere overcame the lacklusture frontage.

The food quality was very good, the dishes as described, adequately portioned for lunch and plating was very well presented.

At it's price point I'm not sure we'd be back unless via another 'deal' - we'd be left with change elsewhere in a similar setting and quality.   (will visit again!! - See my reviews (2) - June, 2011)

At last the long awaited "Family" restaurant the area has been screaming out for - high quality food at friendly prices and service to match. A well balanced menu offering a real choice and variety. The wine list is small but elegant offering a range of NZ products along with very well priced Australian wines.

The kitchen is small but this does not detract at all from the production of tasty food in copious plates. It seems that all sauces and dressings are in-house product and certainly taste that way to the palate.

This place was originally "The Boat Shed" and resembles little of its former self since Smithy and Alan got their hands on it a couple months back.

What a fantastic experience. New owners have finally done it. Mamoth plates of food. My salad was crisp and fresh and the veges done to perfection. Its been a long while since I have been as satisfied with a meal. My steak was perfectly cooked and tender. Cannot wait to go back again   (May, 2009)

A local resident who has seen this restaurant change hands many times.It makes one wonder why this charming setting is continuously changing owenership. Food is average somewhat oily. Service was good and friendly staff. Would not return in a hurry.   (glen - April, 2009)
