    Very bad experience. Was supposed to take 1 hour for delivery. I called at 1 1/2 hours, and they hadn't even left yet. Unacceptable. My food took 2 hours for delivery and was cold by the time we got it. Horrible.   (Brittany - April, 2013)

    Food is good however delivery and actually getting what you have ordered is never right... Often waiting an hour after expected delivery and after calling them get a very disgruntled answer of "its already left " and then get hung up on

    This is literally the worst Indian food in Sydney. Yesterday I ordered, amongst other things, a Butter Chicken. When it arrived the chicken was a grey colour and was swimming in a thick layer of Ghee with no actual sauce, it also smelt terrible.

    When I called Bombay Grill to politely inform them of this they had delivered I was spoken to rudely and disrespectfully and was not offered an alternative let alone a refund.

    1hr delivery time too long. Some of order was not delivered yet we had already paid for it and were not told. Hence still paid for it. Would not use again other than turning up at the place and purchasing there and then.   (Marcus - December, 2012)

    Very poor service. They said it would take an hour to arrive. It actually took 2 hours, and it only came after I called to check on it. The delivery man didn't even apologise.     I have ordered from this place many times as the food is some of the best Indian food I've found in the inner west, but I am consistently let down by their service. They regularly don't check orders, so when I call to follow up on an order they have to start it right then. Plus they forget items, and sometimes have taken 2 hours to deliver. It's a pity they have such terrible service, because the food is really quite good. If you order over the phone and pick up should be fine, otherwise AVOID!   (Thandi - November, 2012)

    Twice now I've ordered naans with my curries and when I opened the bag they are no where to be seen. Couple that with the slow delivery times means that I won't be ordering from here again, which is a shame coz the food is pretty good.   (Arlan - September, 2012)

    First time ordering with Bombay... having high expectations of indian food...

    Ordered at 8:15, received sms stating to be delivered at 9:27, called them, they delivered by 8:45. Very happy with that. I ordered the family meal deal. two adults, two kids, very good flavour, with loads of meat. Enough for left overs for lunch, and likely dinner the next night. Very impressed.     I have ordered quite a few times from here. I have never got full satisfaction from them. Orders sometimes are missing items or are wrong or selections have run out. I am currently waiting for my order which is running 1hr 10m last past the estimated time of arrival (2nd time this has happened). I called them and they said it will be there in 10 mins. it has now been 20 and still no sign. Completely unreliable. . . . . . But they do make good Curry.   (Steven - August, 2012)

    this is and always will be the best indian in sydney, it's amazing! been going here for many years. this is the first time having it delivered to my house. it took a really long time.

    it was definitely worth the wait though.

    DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Really wish I had read the reviews first; there was nothing good about this. Deliver was 1hr 50mins, cold, wrong drink, wrong dessert, forgot two items. Food was basically just garlic in oil. Will never make that mistake again.   (nik - May, 2012)

    Food was very bland and oily. We got two veg curries and one was pretty much overcooked vegetables in oil. Delivery took 1h and 20 min, which was 15 min longer than estimated. It was cheap but I'm not sure it was really worth the low price, given the low quality.   (Edwina - June, 2011)

    I've been a regular orderer from this restaurant for the past year, but lately the whole experience of ordering from them has been disappointing. The food is still okay (except their chicken often taste very cheap and fatty) but they often deliver late. When I first started ordering from them, they took less than 30 minutes to order. Now when I order it takes longer than 45 and they're often late with the delivery. I've called up before to complain and the man on the other end told me it was in the car, on it's way and it should take 15 minutes. We're 5 minutes away by car.     Vegetable samosa was great. Tandoori prawn tasted lovely but didn't seem at all like a tandoori dish to me. Garlic naan didn't have a very strong garlic flavour to it. Took ages to arrive - 1 hour and 40 mins!   (Hols - See my reviews (14) - April, 2011)
