    At first I was skeptical as they called me not long after the SMS to advise there was no lamb for the curry I ordered, but I was cool to change it, so nice for the call.     Curry puffs, pad see ew and tom yum are the stand outs for me, the rest just don't quite measure up.

    Very poor. Food arrived 1 1/2 later than the estimated time. When food arrived it was luke warm at best.

    I called 3 times and was continually told it was on its way.

    The food was ok, but nothing special. We had Lemongrass Chicken and Lamb Masala- the former didn't really taste very much like lemongrass to me and the latter was very oily. The rice serves were about half the size I expected- I'm glad we ordered two, or it wouldn't really have been enough.     First time = excellent. We had massaman and satay vegetables which were delicious and delivered quite fast.

    Second time = average. The tamarind chicken curry was covered in a heavy slick of oil and the chicken was of very average quality however the prawns with basil/chilli was quite good.     This place is the best South East Asian I've had delivered so far. The green curry (which we got hot) was very flavourful and not for the faint of heart. If you're a spice lover, go for the full 'Very Hot' version, but as someone who likes spicy, but not so much that it kills all the taste buds, this was lovely. We also had Pad See Ew, which was delicious. The lemongrass was my least favourite and wouldn't order it again.       Theres not that many burmese places in melbourne that i know of. This place used to be my local take away when i was living in North Fitzroy and it is responsible for making burmese food one of my favorite cuisines. The guy that runs it is extremely friendly. The place itself is pretty makeshift but theres an open kitchen so you can watch your meal being made if you want to stand there and wait. The food is exceptional and although i've never been to burma i can imagine that it is quite authentic.My advice.. try the potatoes curry with chicken.. and have it hot.   (dan - August, 2007)
