This was definitely a disappointment. The wait was unbelievable and to make matters worse it was a quiet night. It took about 30 mins to get our entrees and a further hour to get our main meal.

We were so fed up with the slow service that we decided against dessert and coffee cos we figured that would probably be another half hour wait!

And I agree with CMV Sydney, you would have thought they would bring the bill quickly at least. But that took forever as well. We decided to go to the desk to pay so we could LEAVE!

We won't be going back. Avoid this place unless you enjoy waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting....   (Ethelbert Pie - See my reviews (3) - October, 2010)

looks good but do not recommend. Needs a visit from matt from Aria. what a wait no one sitting at the tables where happy it looked like a morge but the pretty out side probably made up for it. We asked for our coffees first up as we had travelled and we needed it, it never came the girl actually had the message written on the order form for them to come first. the steak was meant to be medium rare it was well done the whole three of them. For the price (OVER PRICED) you would think when you ask for the bill it would be handed to you but we waited and waited so i had to go to the desk myself and pay. will never ever recommend and i shall never return

I went to Cafe Bon Ton for brunch this morning with my family. We waited 20 minutes for very average coffee and 1 hour and 15 minutes for our meals.

The meals were so basic and overpriced. I had bacon and eggs, which was so pedestrian and served on white bread. My partner had warm berries on brioche. It was just like thick sugary jam served on bread.

The worst part of the experience was the poor service. The staff were rude and careless. After waiting an hour and a quarter for our meals the waitress brought them to our table and said 'I hope these are worth the wait'... They weren't.

Definitely AVOID this place, no matter how nice it might appear to be. It has been years since I experienced such bad service.   (Jeremy Shields - March, 2010)

A great place to stop for coffee and cake on your way up or down the mountains. My friend and I were in a hurry to catch a train. She couldn't drink here coffee fast enough so the waitress kindly put it a takeaway cup without a problem.   (skott303@gmail.com - See my reviews (3) - December, 2009)

we love this place - warm and friendly staff - always seems to be full but somehow the maitre d seems able to squeeze us in somewhere (booking is always a good idea) ... wonderful wine list as well!   (dweh - July, 2009)
