Caffe Acqua - Elizabeth

Tonight I went to the Caffe Acqua at Elizabeth and unfortunately it was a terrible experience. The Chicken Parmesagna was the worst I have ever tried. It was extremely dry. The waitress needs to be trained in how to place a plate on the table - Not slam it down.- She was quite abrupt and rude. My friend had a pizza where it was like cardboard. The only thing I felt was good was the man behind the counter who took the orders - He was ver pleasant   (SK - April, 2012)

We go to Caffe Acqua quite often, the meals are good value and always tasty.

The place is noisy and sometimes finding a clean table is a challenge, but the staff have always been accommodating and pleasant to deal with.   (Denise - See my reviews (2) - July, 2010)

I had the fish and chips and it was pre battered frozen fish you can buy from the supermarket.... I went with friends and all their meals were fantastic... I choose the wrong meal No restaurant or even cafe for that matter should serve prebatter frozen fish... other than that the pizzas were great and the warm chicken Salad was great... My partner and I go to cafe Aqua on a regular basis prior to going to the movies as the meals are usually served quickly and taste very nice and value for money. There has been one occurence where we had to leave as our food hadn't arrived in time but considering we've been there about 50 times that's not bad. If you tell them you have a prior engagement they are accommodating with getting the food to you as quickly as they can.   (Lesley - See my reviews (2) - May, 2010)

I had a bad experiance here a few months ago and said I wouldnt go back ( we where forgotten and it took over an hour befor we got our meal.

however I decided to give it the benifit that it was just a once of however this time I

Didnt get to eat at all the staff where so rude we left.

after standing at the counter for longer than I would have expected seeing there where 5 staff and four custoners mthe chap accnowlaged me and was headding towards me when one of the other staff started to talk to him I was the ignored the just as I thought i might get served the phone rang and that took priority over the customer that had been waiting paitiantly,   (not happy - See my reviews (2) - February, 2010)

Love your restaurant, the food, the service is second to none. I especially love the pollo zucca, i have tried to find the recipe on line as i would like to be able to make it for my family but i have had no luck.

Staff are exceptional and meals are excellent value. Busy at most times, though always willing to make an effort to seat large and small groups. Bright well lit and clean, and with lovely 'al fresco' dining available as well. We' have become regular diners and appreciate them being there.
