  Couldn't believe this was the same Cafe that my friends had recommended, we had the burgers that were very ordinary. Our table overlooked the car park which wasn't a pretty site. Will not be back to this Cafe.   (Don K - September, 2011)

  On a Sunday lunchtime, restaurant only half full, however magnificant food, service was excellent. The decor could do with a bit of a clean up though - the shabby green velvet not a good look. But this all paled when the food was served - a delight!

  Reading other review and also the website, I wonder if we dined at the same place? A group of four, we wanted a light inexpensive meal yesterday ) and a glass of wine. The menu included burgers (meat, lamb, fish...) served with fries - price was right so we all ordered the same. They were really disappointing: the menu said tuna for Sword fish - none of this options were available - bream instead. The bream fillets were too thin and flimsy for a hamburger and overcooked. The rest of the hamburger was pretty ordinary also (wilted lettuce etc). There were few chips on the plate (wer they running out?) We ordered a salad which didn't arrive until we reminded the waitress. When it did arrive - again it didn't resemble what we had ordered - bitter leaves with parmesan. We sat in the corner off the main area - I really think this area needs tidying up - my husband was wondering why on earth we found ourselves sitting at a table with : an ugly view of the wall/power box on one side and a car park on the other. We didn't bother to order dessert or coffee . Thankfully we had an entertainment card which did reduce 'the price' and took some of the sting out of the experience   (Locals - See my reviews (2) - July, 2010)

  What a find. We celebrated a 70th birthday at Cala Luna for family and the service, food, attention to details was the best I have experienced for many years. The produce from their own farm was an amazing attribute to have and the qualitt was second to NONE.   We had originally booked our reservation for the $49 Spring special however when we got the bill we were charged the individual menu price.

  We had to ask to place our order and not once were our wine glasses topped up, we had to do it ourselves throughout the evening. When the bottle was finished we tried to hunt down a waiter to order another bottle however after many attempts of being ignored we gave up.

  The food could have been rated higher however the dishes took too long to be served and once they were served yet again we did not receive any service till we had to ask.

  Cute little restaurant, absolutely delicious food and extremely friendly service. We really enjoyed dining out here and do mention it to people and recommend. I'm vegetarian and always stoked to find somewhere that does offer great meals I can enjoy that go beyond the standard tomato pasta some italian places do.   For a Tuesday night, this restaurant was packed! And no wonder. The food is superb - very creative and beautifully presented. We took advantage of their special spring offer of 3 courses for $49 which made the experience even more worth while, particularly as the choices were from the whole a la carte menu. Although we took our own wine, there was a good selection on the wine list. A great dining experience. We'll be back!   (doctortrish - See my reviews (5) - November, 2008)

  Very bad.We were cheated on our bill.They charged price of 2 bottles of wine instead of 2 glasses.Our requests for refund are ignored.be carefull when you go there because the owners are miserable one.double check your bill.   (See my reviews (3) - October, 2008)

  Good fresh Italian food, that has for more to offer than the boring repetative dishes that many italian restaurants continue to offer. All the home made dishes we had were genuinely home made unlike many other restaurants. Highlights were the home made ravioli f confit duck & pheasant that was on special, an unbelieveable 140 day grain fed fillet steak, (and that was only $32), and the trio of deserts on a plate, cant remember the exact dishes on it, as indulged in a few of the great red wines they have on offer, even the wines were very reasonably priced, a 96 penfolds 389 for just over a $100, i've seen simular wines for triple that in other restaurants. A fantastic night was had by all, we shall return   (Muppet - See my reviews (2) - April, 2008)

  We often source produce form our farm that is all organically grown and we feel pleasured that we can offer such exceptional produce to our clients.

  Our wines are offered at reasonable prices because we have built a continual cellar over the past 14 years.

  Great! We booked through menu log and where extremely satisfied with the dining experience. Efficient service with the knowledgable waiter and our food was just devine. Hard to know what to expect when you order suckling Pig ( am i going to get a whole baby pig on my plate?). It was portions of the pig and the crackling was all over. My wife went for the veal ( a safe option that was tender and tasty... no limitations to flavours here.   (emma - See my reviews (2) - April, 2008)

  You choice the most popular dish on our menu and it souded like you enjoyed it great. The veal is a safe option but the sauce with sherry and white really sets it off. Iam passionate about my food i have been a chef in Italy & Australia and i enjoy sharing these flavours learned with you.

  I am glad that you enjoyed the flavours of the food and the presentation. I travel to Italy at least once a year for a holiday but to also get inspiration from restaurants in Italy.
