      We were looking for a genuine Italian restaurant near to the airport, The Capanno Italian Restaurant ticked all the box's. The service was excellent with a homely atmosphere. The garlic bread was amazing, we had Bolognese & Lasange, as the portions were so filling we were unable to have any dessert this time. We will definitely be returning again, and would recommend this restaurant to anyone. 6th December 2011

      I took my mother to this restaurant today 15.10.09 for her birthday, Although this restaurant has been in Botany for years I have only been to it once previously about twenty plus years ago, even then the food was good. I am pleased to say that today the food and service were absolutely fantastic, Carmen and her son did everything possible to make our lunch enjoyable, we had such variety in the food we ordered I even ventured to try a coffee ( which I do not drink), I was made a very weak latte and to my surprise I could actually drink it and enjoy it. Carmen even went so far as to put a candle on a piece of Tiramasu and sing happy birthday to my mother this extra touch was an outstanding piece of customer service and has definitely made sure that we will go back. The garlic bread was delicious as were the garlic prawns and calamari. The chocolate mousse was so light that it tasted like heaven I would recommend this restaurant to anyone for lunch and dinner. The pricing guide when paying could be classified as expensive but when you consider the taste and quality of the food and the service it balances out

      Carmen & the crew are back. The food is great and it is just like old times. Carmen's Mum is back in the kitchen. We had a wonderful time. I wish i was there now to have the Bugs and pasta.

      It's all about the food at Capanno's - Best Italian food in Sydney. Decor could use a face lift however. Well worth the visit.

      Over rated or perhaps relying on previous service and reputation. T I found both the food and service beligerent. I won't be back. The restaurant could also do witha widow for fresh air and some light.

      If your after customer service and a place to feel relaxed this is it! Amazing staff(youll feel like part of the family) and the best pizzas. Can get noisy on weekends but hey, youll be to busy enjoying the great food on offer to even worry! Dont miss the pizza base garlic bread and the BEST, I MEAN THE BEST Tiramisu Eva!!!!! Guys can u do deliveries to Forster?:)

      THE OWNER WAS MOST HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY AND LOOKED AFTER US BEAUTIFULLY. THE BACK AREA COULD USE SOME DECOR TO SOFTEN THE ATMOSPHERE - PLANTS, LIGHTING ETC.

      I've been going to this restaurant for years now. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Food rocks and the staff are always friendly and cheerful. PS: Go The Chilli Chicken Penne pasta!
