we did enjoy the Friday buffet lunch ...fantastic value and I was able to order a glass of wine as well.The curry on the buffet was full of meaty chunks,the salad fresh and delicious ...AND dessert....I couldn't even squeeze in a coffee after! (Courtney - See my reviews (2) - September, 2009)

We just happened on this new eatery in Lygon St and were pleased that we did.The place was bustling and nearly full downstairs with a private party bubbling along upstairs.We chose to eat at one of the pavement tables and watch the passing parade.My sizzling platter really sizzled to the table as I was sipping my complimentary wine,and (Alistair - See my reviews (3) - February, 2009)

It's always a pleasure to eat at Carlton Curry House, which I've done quite a few times, and the first impressions were very good: the ingredients are obviously of very high quality, always fresh, and cooking and service are on the mark, too. I particularly like the roti wraps, which are full of fresh salad and whatever meat or seafood you like. A pleasing feature of the restaurant is that spiciness can be toned down without any loss of flavour, I find. It's well worth a visit or two (or three, or four!!). (Connoisseur - February, 2009)
