      The food was average, I had the squid tentacles and I have to admit that they could have done with a little less lime juice (maybe a lime served on the side may have sufficed) The pizza was a little underdone for toppings, I do however have to admit the taste was not too bad and then there was my steak..........this was a plesant suprise as it was cooked to how I would cook it myself.

      The ambience was nice very cozy.....maybe a little to warm

      Value was ok I would assume (I dont normally eat out at a resturaunt so I cannot compare this with any others)

      The service was good, water glass was always topped up, when we ran out of a drink we were asked if we would like another one.

      All in all I was a little dissapointed as this was our wedding anniversary and the choice of food that we got was not alot (there was more choice from the alcohol list)   (December, 2010)

      My daughter and I had booked Lunch at CBD Restaurant & Bar in the Rydges. It was really great, our booking was organised via Menulog and my comment regarding one of us would require a Vegan Meal was noted and the chef had already prepared some suggestions for us. The food was FANTASTIC and the service exceptional. I will certainly visit the restaurant again and recommend it to all my friends.   (November, 2009)

      CBD has a buzzy and lively atmousphere with a great alfresco dining area to watch all of the action. We had a table of four for dinner and thorughly enjoyed the food, service and overall experience. The menu is extensive with enough choices for everyone and the wine list is huge with some real gems. The location is great too, right in the heart of the CBD.   (Jeanie - March, 2009)

    Csaba "Chubba" Sellei - Csaba Sellei, Executive Chef at CBD Restaurant completed his apprenticeship in Five Star Hotels in Europe. Csaba’s passion for quality and his desire to learn led him to Munich in 1990 where he worked and trained alongside a Master Chef before leaving for Australia. Csaba is a hands-on chef with a love for his craft; his enthusiastic personality has made him a hit with the customers and staff. Be sure to head down to CBD to experience the culinary delights of this truly talented chef and his team.
