    This place is ok. Its nice being up stairs and watching people out the window. The food is quite nice also but I think its a little bit over priced.

      I have been here many times over the years. The food is quite nice and the teppan is pretty good. In fact I dont think I have ever been disapointed with the food, even the prawn heads (the legs are a bit much). Considering the other tepan (and Japanese in general) in Cairns this is the most cost effective.

      The service is always nice, the only draw back is the deco which is a little tacky but cute in the same way.

      Lunch specials are great and they have a happy card which earns you points. Also they have a monthly comp for a voucher, put your card in the basket at the door.

      WARNING: be aware the stairs are skinny and steep so if you have a few drinks you will need to be careful on your way back down.   (Renee - See my reviews (27) - January, 2009)

      My daughter wanted to go here for her 18th birthday. We have been previously for her 16th birthday. We have been on other occasions and always found the staff friendly and the service quite good. The food is always sufficient and well presented. I am not keen on the Teppanyaki as by my experience in other restuarants you do not always get a good size meal. I have not had Teppanyaki here because of this so can not comment.
