    Not happy at all! Food was 45mins late and cold.

    Ask the man to give some sort of a discount and he refused.

    Really bad value and speed!!!

    Ordered the BBQ pork which was mainly fat. It was horrible. Also got a Penang curry which had good flavour although very watery. I asked for it to be made spicy and it wasn't. Have eaten the restaurant before which was good but will never order a takeaway from here again. On the whole, very disappointing.   (maggie - See my reviews (7) - May, 2012)

    Put it this way I made an order at 6:20pm, I canceled it at 8:05pm when I was told it would be another 15 minutes, I also recieved a phone call at 6:50pm telling me that the dessert I ordered could not be delivered, they do not deliver the desserts but they do put them on the site. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!   (Mitchell - November, 2011)

      I have dined at Chilli Jam several times. The food is lovely, their "chilli jam" items are a must try. The atmosphere is quite busy and great for large groups. A hint would be to ask for a table near the front if dining there in summer as the kitchen is in the back and it gets quite hot as there is no air conditioning.   (July, 2008)

      I have been a big fan of the take away from Chilli Jam and so we wanted to see if it was even better when we actually dined in the restaurant. Perhaps our expectations were too high. The food is lovely but not value for money. The restaurant is lively but loud. Rice came out too late and we had to ask several times for it. It is lovely food and friendly service but could just step it up a little for a really great dining experience   (July, 2008)

      I dined with my two daughters and their partners last night, Chilli Jam Thai being the choice of one daughter. We had been previously for my birthday in February. The service was quite good considering it was so crowded. However I found it too difficult to hear conversation and for this reason would probably not choose to dine there again. Food was good and I had an enjoyable evening.   (June, 2008)

      I will definately recommend this restaurant to my friends, great food, ambience, value for money and service!!! it really was. The only thing I would complain about was that it was a bit too noisy on the night, otherwise it was Excellent!   (February, 2008)

      very overpriced for what we got and very noisy. I think i'll have to pass a second visit to Chilli Jam. We ordered the King Prawns with lime and peppercorn stir fry which was supposedly a chefs special - well we got three prawns and a prawn head with no body, the rest of the dish was packed with chunky onions and to be honest so were all of the other stirfrys ordered by the table !!! same with the duck we ordered.. so not very special at all. the waitress was friendly enough.   (S.Z Sydney - See my reviews (3) - February, 2008)

      Quite noisy went here on sunday night so not recommended for a nice quiet social meal, food was incredibly pricy for thai - wouldn't order the king prawns with kaffir lime and peppercorn it was quite a rip off for $26 all we got were three prawns plus a prawn head all topped with chunky onions and peppercorns...of course there were other dishes but still left feeling a little hungry.       We were initally sat next to the kitchen and asked to be moved which was fine and not a problem. The restaurant was packed for a monday night, but the food was still fantastic and the service was great. I would definately go back, but mainly on special occasions as it is a little higher priced than average thai restaurants.   (January, 2008)

      I love this place. Went for the first time tonight with a group of friends..we all got different meals and every person's was so amazingly delicious. SO delicious. It was very busy, we were lucky to be seated as soon as we arrived, and though the place was at capacity we were served very quickly with our meals. The only downside was the level of noise. But with a group of friends for a fun night out, it's great, the noise just adds to the fun. Delicious! Going back next week   (December, 2007)

      Love the funky look, very much a hot spot!The atmosphere is quite noisy as they have an open kitchen, and the high ceilings cause the restaurant to echo a tad, otherwise fantastic!   (November, 2007)
