It is generally a good dine out experience. Although there are some misunderstanding when I pay for my bills, food are quite good and I might consider revisit at a later time. One thing though, the coffee is very bad. Got to remember to go somewhere for coffee afterwards next time.

Although a Wednesday night my companion and I joined one only couple to sample this intimate restaurant above street level in a busy area of Kings Cross. The descripton said newly opened the waiter volunteered 2.5 yrs! We wanted our menu log discount of 15% but were told this only applied to the ala carte menu...We ordered the pork rack which arrived as a large pork chop after some considerable time.. we questioned the waiter and he said yes "boneless rack".. pointing to the bone on our plate, he simply smiled and walked away. A vegetarian tomato risotto arrived like a Sarah Lee mixed rice dish, there were no vegetables with either dish..however I can truly say their bread was the freshest bread yet in a restaurant and at no extra charge! A shame that such a romantic ambiance is limited by poor value for money and lack of creative cuisine!

It was a wonderful dinner experience, my partner went for the 3 course fix menu (chicken liver pate; pork rack with great crackling of the skin; and souffle) and i had al-la-carte (duck confit), it was all beautiful. The portion was just right, and the food was just scrumptious. It was great, def. be back again (if only parking at darlinghurst was easier)

Although there was nothing particularly wrong with this restaurant, it was nothing special either. The food was fine, especially the steak, and the service was attentive, if not, slightly over keen. We will not be going there agin as I'm sure there are better places out there.

Service was excellent and ambience was good, but food was ordinary and not much choice with course menu.I don't think I will go back again unless they have more variety in the set menu.

Nice restaurant but can do better.

Fabulous restaurant and beautifully appointed. The most comfortable chairs I have ever sat in at a restaurant! Loved the colour scheme and the soft lighting from the chandeliers. Delicious food, portions not overly generous but certainly filling. Pate and calamari were yummy; followed by a sensational rare crumbed lamb and crispy skin Dory. All in all a great night. Thank you for the unobtrusive, professional service- never had to try to catch anyone's eye!

The room is warm and pleasant with smart confortable furniture. The service was friendly, prompt and unobtrusive.

Everyone in our party of 5 enjoyed their meal. My french onion soup and duck confit were both delicious.
