    COAT OF ARMS KAFFEEHAUS RESTAURANT, located in the heart of Adelong within Beaufort House, is dedicated to offering a destination where food and wine are equally impressive to create an exceptional culinary experience at a remarkable value.

    An excellent assortment of European flavors offered from small plate sizes to platters, designed to complement the regional wine collection. The dishes are traditionally found in and around Europe’s wine regions with the menu highlights focused on selections from Austria and Italy. The result is a stellar selection of traditional charcuterie, tastefully topped thin crust pizza, and authentically prepared small plates that reflect the bounty of local and regional source.

    Faithful to the Viennese tradition of a ‘Kaffeehaus Restaurant’, an array of hand crafted cakes, Apple Strudel (made with local Wilgro Batlow Apples) and extensive coffee selection is always available throughout the day.

      An absolutely sublime experience to wine and dine here!

      Having eaten at many fine dining restaurants throughout Australia (and some part of the world), we are still surprised to have found an amazing culinary gem "Coat of Arms" restaurant in the middle of "our" no where, which ever since we had discovered is now a worthwhile destination for us.

      Everything shines in this restaurant, from the cosy European ambience, the impeccable service, the intuitive hostess, the amazing menu and the divine wine selection that complete our dining experience, each and every time we have been to this place.

      One haven't truly lived until one have eaten Josh's Garlic Prawns! (BTW, Josh is the head chef here).

      We would like to thank the staff and proprietors of the Beaufort Guest House boutique accommodation in Adelong for their warm hospitality and care and attention to the little things that gave us a true “country experience” in such a pretty ionic historical Australian gold town.

      We like other guests felt at ease, relaxed and enjoyed the ambience of the historic décor, open fires, large comfortable verandah and delightful courtyard and restaurant.

      The staff were so friendly and offered a superb menu choice for dinner. A truly wonderful weekend away from the big city.
