      Outstanding! I recently ran a function for some very senior clients in the Bar Room and I must report that the whole experience fantastic. The feedback from attendees was that the food was mouth-watering, the service superb but discrete (allowing for confidential dialogue) and the ambiance wonderful. I would highly recommend this venue for a personal or work-related function! My commendations go not only to the chef but also to the maitre de and manager who were exceptionally helpful as well as charming. I look will definitely be running another function there in the future.   (Leslie - January, 2009)

      Lovely fit out, elegant and clean. The service was very professional and very pleasant. I had the John Dory. The fish was cooked perfectly and the sauce was subtle and delicious. The 2 Balmain bugs were slightly overcooked and over salted. The fish was just a little salty for my taste. There should have been more of the mash -- I could barely find it. Perhaps 2 or 3 teaspoon sized quenelles might have been nice. Loved the squid ink pasta roll. My husband had another fish dish -- I didn't have a chance to taste it, but the saffron flavoured broth was rich and luscious. The portion sizes were appropriate for a meal that includes a starter. I guess that starters are assumed in the design of the menu. The mains by themselves are a bit modest if you are really hungry. Bread is cheap. It could be offered earlier and more than once. All in all a very nice place to eat.   (A lovely place to eat - July, 2008)
