    Our bread for the kebabs is heated and the FRESHLY-GRILLED MEAT is placed on the bread and wrapped. All the meat used is grilled to perfection, leaving no extra fat.

    We also offer wholemeal or GLUTEN FREE BREAD for the kebabs.

    Our Turkish pide are homemade. We offer spinach & feta or lean beef. We also do a GLUTEN FREE pide

    Baked potatoes, with all fillings being lean, and no added fat or preservatives, and all fillings are GLUTEN FREE

    Our chicken shish kebabs are chemical free

    On the cold side....

    Our biggest sellers are:

    our CHEMICAL FREE CHICKEN SALAD with avocado, roasted pumpkin and baby spinach, macrobiotic salads with lentils and beans, feta with roasted beetroot, and pumpkin seeds and more.

    WE have a fantastic range of homemade gluten free (and some that are dairy and sugar free) slices....choc brownies (TooDeliciousForWords), lime slice, raspberry & coconut, banana & date and lots more.

    We have freshly made fruit salad with "the best low fat yoghurt you will EVAH have", we bake fresh muffins and banana breads daily, and have smoothies, freshly made juices, frittata (baked with free range eggs only), yummy specials ...tuna patties or zuccini fritters (all Gluten free and low fat) we have lots of vegetarian and vegan choices.

    Probably our most popular brekkie are the GLUTEN FREE COCONUT PANCAKES served with low fat yoghurt and blueberries or smoked salmon, ricotta and avocado.

    We use a really good coffee (NU - numero uno) which is part of the Rainforest Alliance group (growers benefit from the sale of the beans) and we have assorted herbal loose leaf teas.

    We are establishing ourselves as a CLEAN HEALTHY food stop...eat in or take away...

      Wow...we went to DARE today for coffee and cake for Mothers Day. It was perfect, the lemon and lime slice I had was the best gluten free slice I have ever had, and my 3 1/2 year old, who is a Coeliac, had Chocolate Brownie, she said it was "yummy to the whole wide world". The caramel and walnut slice that my husband had was so delicious too. The owner was so friendly and has another shop opening soon, let's hope these Gluten Free/health conscienous cafes appear everywhere. :) We will go back very soon. It was so nice knowing they really understand Gluten Free requirements. Thanks heaps   (happy_aussie_mum - May, 2009)

      If I could rate this place higher I would. We have based our next trip to Sydney around Brunch at D.A.R.E.. The staff are the I've encountered nicest anywhere. The informal nature of this eatery is it's main attraction. A trip to Sydney wouldn't be complete without a meal there. We love it.   (Robyn - February, 2009)
