"Service was appalling. It was mid-Monday morning, not busy, but took excessive amount of time to even be given a menu (and then only on my request). Our first choice was "not available", so ordered something else. We were seated watching the kitchen, and our order was placed on the bench for delivery, and the kitchen staff rang the bell for the waiter to collect twice, and while he went over.."

Service was appalling. It was mid-Monday morning, not busy, but took excessive amount of time to even be given a menu (and then only on my request). Our first choice was "not available", so ordered something else. We were seated watching the kitchen, and our order was placed on the bench for delivery, and the kitchen staff rang the bell for the waiter to collect twice, and while he went over there to do other things, he just left our food sitting there. By the time someone brought the food over, the butter to spread on the bread had melted. Waiter was surly and unhelpful. Food was extremely average. This was our second visit to Deck 56, and we had some similar problems the first time (in particular with items on the menu not being available), but the service was so bad this time I will never go back.   (Kara - December, 2008)

Friendly atmosphere, limited menu, couldn't complain about any aspect of the service but it didn't rate as excellent and you would expect excellent service for the meal price.   (February, 2008)
