About Delicious Chinese Takeaway

Delicious has been operating for over 15 years. Brothers Hock and Kheng took over in 2005 creating a buzz in the surrounding suburbs.

Hock has been in the hospitality scene for over 20 years. Having worked in several well known Chinese Restaurants in Perth including Burswood, Sydney and overseas in Malaysia. His passion for great food and customer satisfaction has shone through , making ‘Delicious’ a popular Takeaway Restaurant among the locals.

Kheng’s experience in western cuisine has given ‘Delicious’ the edge, among its competitors. With over 12 years experience as a Chef working in Jessica’s Fine Seafood Restaurant, Olive Tree and many other popular café restaurants, ‘Delicious’ has quickly made a name for itself.

The Brothers have now branched out including the third brother, also in the hospitality industry and opened a successful Italian Restaurant in Yokine ‘Pasta Fiesta’ in 2008.

How your order is processed:

  1. Your order is transmitted to this restaurant the instant you submit your order,
  2. The restaurant confirms your order and advises us of the current delivery estimate,

    Food was not pleasant at all apart from Special Fried Rice. Delivery was fast and price was good but not good enough to make up for a meal not even my 16 year old son (with hollow legs) could eat.   (Deb - April, 2013)

    Meal was delivered half an hour late, when I called to check on the delivery it took me 6 times to get thru, kept getting an old Internet dial up tone when it connected. Food was horrible and cold, the teriyaki chicken dish had no flavor and the container was cracked on the bottom, when I pulled it from the bag the little sauce in the dish spilt out everywhere! Very disappointing for the price, will not ever order again unfortunately.   (Katharine - April, 2013)

    All components of the meal were fresh, the vegetables crisp, the prawns delicious. The quantity was more than i would usually eat at a sitting; great value. Slightly late, but traffic holdups happen. I'll go back for more.   (Bob - See my reviews (4) - April, 2013)

    I think its gone off lately. Used to be ok but the last 2 times flavourless and big chunky veges filling the containers ....not on.

    I ordered three varieties. The food came piping hot and was delivered faster than the said time by 10 mins. They even added a bag of chips complimentary! The special fried rice was delicious. The only little problem was the curry chicken. The curry was great but the chicken was not really tasty.

    But still I will still order from this place again cos overall it is still good!   (John - November, 2012)

    Very efficient way to get food the last minute if you don't feel like cooking after a long day at work. Food was delivered exactly on time. The only thing is that I wished the soup could come in bigger container. Will definetly use them again.   (warda - September, 2012)

    This is the worst take away that I had in Perth if not the world. We ordered the food around 6:30pm and had a message saying it would be delivered at 7:30. at 7:45 we called them and was told that the order was on its way but part of it was not included as they had run out. at 8:15 we called them again and was told the food would be with us soon. finnally the food arrived just before 8:30 and they tried to charge us extra for the chicken wings that we didn't receive. the food was cold and didn't taste nice. we all had stomach aches the next day. We phoned the restaurant to complaine and the manager wasn't very apologetic . WE WILL NEVER USE THIS PLACE AND PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE.   (Lei - May, 2012)

    The food was nice. The delivery guy forgot the dessert, but when he returned he included an extra one, which was a nice touch. Need to extend the drinks range to include low cal options (e.g. Coke Zero or Diet Coke). Also the website doesn't let you choose which of the gelati desserts you want.   (Sonia - May, 2012)

    I was bit disappointed when I received my food as I had clearly requested in writing with my order that I wanted a different sauce on my pasta than what it came with on menu, but wen I opened my food they had given me what I hadbasked not for?? :(   (Kellie - March, 2012)

    SHOCKING SERVICE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT. I ordered my meal at 7pm, including $10 for delivery. They sent me a notification saying that my food would arrive at 8pm. It did not arrive at 8pm. I waited until 8:30 and called them. They said that they would call the driver and that the food was on its way. I called them again at 9:15 and they said the food was on its way. I demanded that they called the driver and they called back saying he had delivered it to the wrong house. They made a new batch and I got it at 10pm. They brought a bag of prawn crackers and a bottle of coke to make up for it - but for a $50 order and not following it up after I first asked them where my order was that was a very poor consolation. I should have received a discount. DO NOT TRUST THIS RESTAURANT.   (Clancy - June, 2011)

    This was lovely, very nice food, and we got a lot of food for the price. However, our order asked for no egg on the char kway teow and we also gave very detailed instructions for delivery , neither of which messages appeared to have got through to Delicious.   (Mardi - March, 2011)

    I have ordered food from here before both italian &chinese and it was quite good but the last time it was discusting .It was a crab dish (in the shell) . Just mush and shell, the WORST meal we've EVER had .We didnt bother to complain due to them already sending us the wrong order in the first place and then having to wait another 15mins for this muck. Just would never order from there again, it was that bad ...Real shame   (kaiffa - February, 2011)

    I picked Delicious because I read the first few reviews on the speed of delivery and how fresh the food was.

    Unfortunately it took maybe 5-10minutes longer to arrive than the said 50-60minutes. We were starving at that point but even that didnt make the meal enjoyable.

    The fish was definitely not fresh and the lemon chicken did not have the mouthwatering crisp batter I was salivating for. It looked like it had been in the deepfryer too long or double fried. I was quite disappointed and did not find it value for money especially having paid an additional $10 for delivery and we are very very close.   (Sheila - February, 2011)
