The menu is short and uncomplicated, but there is always an extensive list of specials. The chef works within his area of expertise so you can be sure the menu items are always cooked perfectly and presented wonderfully. Creative without being overbearing like many new restaurants these days. The right balance of ingredients and creativity. Every meal is delicious. I had the beef fillet with wilted spinach and a sigle ravioli filled with asparagus and ricotta served with a creamy bouillabaisse sauce. The fillet was cooked medium rare and the ravioli filling fresh and delicious. silky pasta. Obviously the pasta is made on the premises. Prices are moderate and slightly less than many cafe meals, yet the meals at Diva better any competitor in that category. Dessert selection could be modified, the tasty chocolate mousse and tiramisu has been on the menu for years, oh and the chunky cholesterol bomb cakes. Let's look out for some rubarb roasted with mint served with vanila panacotta or perhaps sour cherry & almond tart?

No wine list, BYO. Overall Diva delivers a very good cafe style menu with attentive service and pleasant surrounds.   (January, 2008)
