The atmosphere of Schnitzel House Double Bay is casual but professional. Our team is highly qualified, with most of them having trained in hospitality, either locally or overseas.
Our home-style menu has been inspired by the foods and flavors of Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Hungary. The old-fashioned European recipes and methods used result in delicacies, which are reasonably simple but always high in taste and quality.
To complete your dining experience, we serve a range of imported beers and spirits, including our famous schnapps.

I've ordered twice from Schnitzel House and both times they've delivered nearly an hour too early. It's not great service and they were very rude when we tried to say that we needed it at the time we ordered not an hour early.

Hi I had the worst experience with this company. I ordered chicken snitchel and i got the vension instead. Also it came cold. I phoned them to report this as i wanted a refund and i was told that they were leaving and this would be sorted out the next day. No one called me back and when i phoned again they pretended they didnt know what i was talking about. Complete joke i ll not be back

7.00pm Meal due for delivery 7.30pm Call restaurant to ask why it was 30 minutes late. First response "I don't have that order" then "I sent it early" then simply "I'll check with driver" and hung up on me. 7.35pm Call restaurant. "Driver is not picking up phone" when I ask why it was so late she said "How do I know?". I said that if meal was not hot on arrival it would be returned. 7.40pm Meal arrives. No apology from driver. Meal was cold so I said "take it back". He said "he'd be back" and I said "no thanks and please get restaurant manager to call me."4 No apology for obvious complete lack of service.

Absolutely disgusting! steak was dry,tasteless and over cooked the chips were soggy and i got the smallest portion of salt and pepper squid for the price i paid. Way to expensive for such disgusting food.

NEVER AGAIN! After being advised that our order would take 1 hr to be delivered WE had to contact the restaurant after 1hr+15 mins to ascertain the whereabouts of our delivery. Then FINALLY after 1 hour & 40 minutes our meal arrived COLD! After this very disappointing & negative experience I will never order from this restaurant or use this delivery service ever again - what a waste of time & money!

They were so nice - they forgot my sauce (it's not Schintzel House without the sauce) so they sent the delivery guy back with it. The saurkraut was warm - I think it tastes different than when it's cold. Preferred the cucumber salad which was nice and refreshing.

This place is a joke, I have ordered from them multiple times and there is always a problem - the first time the food never came and they kicked up a fuss about a refund, second time 1 hour late, and now again nearly 1 hour late and as usual ice cold. When I called to find out what happened it was always "we're too busy to worry about deliveries". If they are too busy for their customers then why bother.

I have wanted to try this place for a while and was not disappointed. Delivered early, smelt great jager sauce is delicious nice quantities. If you wanted to find fault in the food you could but it is fresh food being delivered as quick as they can and the meal was nice. I may suggest a small hole in the package to allow steam to leave but this may let out heat as well. We are keen to try other items and/or dine in next time. Friendly and polite driver. Overall very pleasant experience.

I was appalled by the quality of the food and have photographic evidence to show for it. The schnitzel was over cooked, the potato rosti had a burnt taste and the mixed entree was well below average or fit for consumption. Absolutely disgusting and appalling and I'm sorry I wouldn't recommend their food at all.
