Speed ratings are based on user reviews given by customers who have ordered from Menulog before. Ratings are calculated on a scale of 1-10.

How your order is processed:

  1. Your order is transmitted to this restaurant the instant you submit your order,
  2. The restaurant confirms your order and advises us of the current delivery estimate,
  3. You automatically receive a confirmation email and/or sms with the updated delivery estimate AND contact information for the restaurant (should you experience any issues with the food or delivery),
  4. Menulog customer service representatives monitor orders to ensure they are confirmed immediately by the restaurant,
  5. The restaurant prepares the food and delivers directly to your door.

    Value for money. Lot's of condiments , complimentary salad and papadums. We got the $50.00 value pack and it was plenty of food for 3 people. Overall a nice meal.

    Food arrived before SMS'd time (nice as they had quoted an hour). Food was delicious. The momo is the stand out, can't order from this place without getting some type of momo.

    First time ordering from here, great food (the veggie korma had a variety of fresh vegetables which is unlike some other places) Chicken Tikka was flavoursome and no fatty gross bits! The free papadums were a lovely touch. Will definitely order again from here! Naan was doughy and fresh with lots of garlic! Delicious!

    Vegetarian dishes were nice. Fish wasn't the best. Garlic naan was nice flavour wise but was thick and doughy. Papadums arrived crushed. We were given a complimentary raita due to some mix up (no discount and we ended up having to pay more for reasons we couldn't get our heads around) but they forgot our rice. :-( Not impressed.

    amazing every time! thats all i need to say, keep in mind its a small family business so delivery can take awhile, but the food is alwasy fresh and hot when it arrives!

    Divine! had the vege korma and saag aloo. Definitely ordering again. Order took one hour but was advised by SMS and it was on time so we were happy! Excellent portion size

    Granted, it can be a little slow to arrive but knowing that in advance makes it fine. By far the best Indian take away on this side of town.

    I've been to the restaurant before, the manager being my doctor's brother and the food has always been great, the service and time of delivery is also fantastic. Will definitely be ordering again.

    I've ordered here a number of times and the food is always great. I often get takeout when the family come over and everyone says its the best Indian they've had in Melbourne. The eggplant dish is divine! Delivery usually takes an hour so order early. Can also be a bit longer on weekends.

    Good solid food, and the pistachio and rose kulfi was a real treat. Generous serves. I also liked that they rang to double check the order and tell me when it was on its way. Definitely a repeat customer.

    This food had been fantastic for ages, not sure what has happened but we had one order that was well below average, decided to give it a second chance and it was even worse!! Won't be ordering again. Which is a shame because it was SO good before.

      Downunder Curry offers excellent service, great food and wonderful service. The tandoori platter was one of the best I have tasted, great flavour, and moist meats. I will return and take others to this restaurant. If you have children the menu indicates which meals they might like. It was also great value, and appeared to be a good place for large parties.

      It's a strange looking little place, but the food is excellent. While it may appear deserted, there is a steady flow of people (like me) picking up takeaway. Really, the food is great, and that's why you go to a restaurant - for great food. I think the chef is Nepali.
