we have dined here a number of times and the food is always top notch.we have noticed the service (which was outstanding) starting to slip and become a little inconsistent in the last few visits (but still good staff are friendly, helpful) the speed, and quality of the meals more than makes up for it. a great 'dinner and a movie' spot. highly recommend the eye fillet. very tasty   (jason - See my reviews (2) - January, 2010)

Had a great night out, the staff were friendly and efficient. The food was great and the service was quick. We were offered more drinks after out main - asked when we would like our main after our entree. Would recommend it and would go again thanks   (Pip - November, 2008)

Service was poor, had to wait for the staff to finish their discussion that took over 2 minutes before we could pay for the meal. Food was tasteless, wine glass was almost dropped on the table, would not go back even if i was starving   (Amanda - See my reviews (4) - October, 2008)

Inefficient service. Were not approached for follow up food or drinks after ordering mains (at our request). We were told we couldn't order a salad with dressing on the side, or order a salad without tomato (these requests were based on food allergies) because the kitchen was 'backed up'. We could not order a cocktail because they were too busy.... the restaurant was only 1/2 full. Fortunately, one only staff member, Brendan came and apologised for poor service and made us a cocktail - he was the only polite, efficient staff member. A bottle of wine was plonked on the table and not poured. Would not ever go back to this 'cafe' again - I wouldn't call it a restaurant. One of our party had to pick the brown revolting lettuce out of a salad.   (June, 2008)

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The service was less than desirable, although the staff can offer a smile. Don't order a salad or a pizza, as they seem to take a long time to prepare these basic dishes (say 30 minutes). The calamari was a bonus, well prepared, although you don't want to bring your partner, because you'll be eating your meals at different times.   (Andre' - June, 2007)
