The food is a world tour of flavours, drawing on influences from France, Asia, the Mediterranean and Africa. The result is an innovative menu, fusing traditional dishes with exotic flavours. The menu changes every two months, to make the most of seasonal produce, as well as to keep their regular diners guessing.

Their philosophy of cuisine originates in the european idea of "une experience gastronomique", where not just the food, but also the service, wine and the company together create a complete dining experience. Each individual element is essential in creating a memorable night out.

Overall 9.5 - Food 9, Ambience 10, Value 9, Service 10

We have dined at Eclipse several times and the standards have never been compromised nor have they wavered. The service is attentive and consistently very friendly whilst the presentation and quality of foods have always been innovative and excitingly delicious with flavours that intrigue. Our evenings at Eclipse have always been nothing short of a totally enjoyable experience. For a small boutique suburban restaurant, this is very good value and a must attend again marker in our book.   (val - See my reviews (5) - December, 2007)
