    I enjoyed a beautiful dinner last week (sat.26) i recomend to try the stuffed mushrooms and the pork, it is a small restaurant but is one of the best in the region.

      Food was terrible. I had stuffed prawn and crab mushrooms which were oily and over cooked. I then had pork and scallops which was worse. Pork belly tasted like it had been deep fried, the loin, scallop and kumara chips were ok but the cauliflower purée was just slop on the plate. My husband has the new York fillet which was served thin with fat on and cooked medium to well rather than medium rare. The potato gratin not much better. The waitress and chef just talked constantly in the kitchen which was off putting. Terrible for $135 which spoilt our anniversary.

      we dined on tuesday the 29th of june and had a fantastic meal, i had Mirror Dory with fresh pasta and my partner had a lovely large pork chop. We meet the chef (adam) and found someone who really loves there food and loves to talk about it. We would recommend the place to everybody, but the rooms could do with a make over
