Not good. A friends chair broke beneath him. Not even an apology. All 12 diners at our table were in shock of how badly the incident was handled.   (January, 2013)

I am a regular at Ella Messa and I love everything there is to offer, the atmosphere, the staff and the fabulous food. The only thing better is the wonderful George   (See my reviews (3) - March, 2011)

A group of us decided that we would try this restaurant for seeing in 2010 New Years eve. We booked in no problems here. However when 11-15pm came we were asked to leave as the place was closing. Staff wanted to go is what we were told. No a good service at all and we wont be going back again to support this place as they think more about themselves than their customers (who some are Managers of complexes)   (Larry - December, 2010)

From the time you walk in your treated as family! This is traditional Greek Eating and Meeting Place, no noses in the air just good honest food, exceptional and friendly staff. Each flavor compliments the next, I have been 3 times thus far and will be a constant from now on! Well done George, Stavros(Len) and the fantastic chefs and staff that have given the sunshine coasters a little of Greece!!   (Eating for the senses - September, 2010)

Our second visit, this time for a birthday dinner, shared the platter between 3 girls, impossible to eat it all and divine food. Our friends raved about the slow cooked lamb and chicken breast, great atmoshpere with George the owner giving us a candle for a dessert / cake, joining us and the rest of the restaurant in singing happy birthday for our friend .. We have had 3 wonderful dinners, 2 on our own and one with a party of 25 for my birthday. We have always found the staff to be wonderful and so friendly. Good quality food and at a reasonable price, do try the BBQ Occy as its FANTASTIC.   (Great Greek food. - April, 2010)

Not impressed. Poor, slow service for a Saturday night, unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Multiple staff were unable to answer simple questions relating to what was included in meals.The platter at $35 per head was overpriced for what was served. overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant as I have had many more enjoyable experiences......   (Vanessa - March, 2010)
